Welcome to the Illusion Asylum. Well, version two, I guess. Mostly just checking out Google Sites for now, and for YouTube stuff. Maybe more.
Welcome to the Illusion Asylum. Well, version two, I guess. Mostly just checking out Google Sites for now, and for YouTube stuff. Maybe more.
There was one more thing we needed to do for the Easter season. We made a second golden egg and took on Awakened Azeos. We also talked about the update coming in a couple weeks and converted the mob farm area to a larva spawner for some grub seeds.
We head into battle to rescue our skeleton friends. After that, we take the fight to the Horde Of The Spore. Then we have to defend the zombies from another attack.
We headed out and rescued both the creepers and zombies. Now we can summon them along with the golems. Up next is rescuing the skeletons.
We head into another vault and are lucky enough to get Monoliths. We found the three that we needed and were even able to complete our bounty. We got some decent stuff, but nothing spectacular. After that, we did a little bit of exploring with our wonderful mule friend.
We set out to take down another Nether portal. After well over half an hour of struggling, it was time to switch gears. We then head over to a village and defend it from the piglins. After completing that, we head back to the well and get ourselves set up to be able to gather all the resources.
We set up defenses and save a town from the piglins. After gathering ourselves, we head out and take down one of the Nether portals!
After going through the tutorial we head out to save some villages and then take down the night portal. Our zombie friends even came to help. And skellys and creepers.
After even more AFK farming, we were so close to finished with the Grumpkins. We were three seeds short, so we took up the challenge of getting those final seeds and we were successful. We didn't do much else, but we are set to move on to a new goal.
We headed out to get some quests done. We were able to finish two off, and worked on one that has been hanging around for quite some time. Back to HQ to start another project next time!
We head off into a vault to get ourselves set up with the Chromatic Steel that we need for our new storage system. We were able to get more than we needed, and now our system is complete! We spent a good bit of time dismantling the chest monster and getting our stuff in the new system. It's very nice.
After getting more seeds, we head out to the old Forgotten Ruins to see if we can find a few areas to make egg gathering faster. While it wasn't the quickest thing in the world, we were able to get a whole bunch of the gray Easter eggs. Now we have all the Easter items.
We headed out and ended up stopping at the HQ to get a new project going. Then we were going to my actual destination. I had planned on going to Point Lookout, but it seems someone has stolen Tobar. No ferry trip for us. Then it was off to do another quest. We get to do it again, though, because the game crashed as I was heading to make a save.
It's off to another vault as we try and track down the carbon we need. While we didn't quite get enough, we were able to get back out of the vault successfully. We even got our bounty done. After that, it was a fun time trying to get some spider eyes for the next crystal.
We acquired several more Grumpkin seeds and got them all planted. We were also able to get enough eggs to get the Easter crafting table. We need even more eggs for the new outfits and one of the other items, plus five each for the golden egg and one each just to have. Gray is the sticking point still. We'll get them, though.
We head to the HQ and get another small project started. Afterwards, we head out to get a fancy new outfit for Sentinel. It's very nice.
We dive into a vault in search of Knowledge and Monoliths. It turns out, we were able to get the exact amount of Knowledge Essence that we needed! We also were able to get the Monoliths and complete the vault! Good stuff. We're working on our new storage system, but we need some more Chromatic Steel.
We hang around the base doing some random stuff while waiting for the farm to generate some gray Easter eggs. We haven't gotten enough yet, but we should soon.
Working for the Nightengales again. We end up having a minor whodunnit to solve, not that there was much to solve. We did a couple other things for them, as well. We should head back to the HQ soon.
The new Easter event is live! We spent a good bit of time collecting up most of the eggs we need. We still need one color of eggs, but we will mostly have to wait for the farm to do its thing. More Easter stuff to come!
We jumped into two vaults today and neither went well. We did at least get some decent loot and we're close to the knowledge we need.
After quite the struggle, we are finally able to take Lothar down! That wraps things up for the modern Wolfenstein series. It was a good time.
We head into the heart of Lothar's Forth Reich to put an end to things. We made it through the lab and up to the roof, but...then things didn't go so well. The thrilling conclusion soon!
A second interview, some wandering, and a trip over to Mass Bay to help out the Nightengales some more. It went well.
Off to Brother 3 so I can flail around like a fool looking for something right in front of me. We got it taken down, however, and afterward, we found out I was right to be leery of Juju.
We headed out to the desert on another gathering mission. Then there was some work by the base and the start of an experiment.
Heading back out into the city to take on Brother 2. It was a fair struggle, but victory was had.
Off to another vault that we were able to complete! We were even able to turn in two bounties today. We upgraded the pickaxe a bit, as well. All in all, it was good, even if a creeper did make me very upset.
We head back out into Neu-Paris to take on Brother 1. Lots of Nazi soldiers tried to get in our way and failed. Brother 1 is down, two more to go.
We spent some time wandering around the desert and collecting stuff again. We also spent a bit of time in the clay caves. The bloat oat farm is now complete, and we've gotten more fiber going as well.
Getting some side missions done to level up a bit. We were able to hit level 20, so we should be all set for some main missions soon.
We head down to the HQ to get another project going. Twice, but not in a good way. Then we get to head out again and get a couple more interviews.
We head off to complete a couple missions. We got the first one done, but we're still working on the second. Maybe because I didn't pay attention. Maybe.
It's time for another vault, so we waste little time and jump right in! We find some ores to mine, find an elite mob, and even finally finish off our bounty! Then it's back out to complete another vault! Everything is coming up roses today. After we get everything put away, we are able to scrounge up enough materials to make our first magnet. Very nice.
We made our way through Paris and into the catacombs. Now we have a few different things to go do.
After finally getting rid of the crashes, we dive in to the first level. We kill the General and then fall very far.
After grabbing up some more Halloween stuff, we headed in to enjoy the lovely cherry blossoms. We headed out to the desert to get the blossoms and gather up some other things, mostly just because. Once we headed back home, we made a little garden for our new trees. I think it turned out well.
After some indecision, we head off towards Greentop Nursery to do the final interview. Then it's back to Concord to finish off the quest. We also grab a bunch of the junk in Sanctuary to take it to Hangman's Alley.
We headed into another vault and we were able to complete it! That's two in a row. And we got a completion crate which was...pretty amazing. I have to think those will be nerfed soon. We have another vault ready to go and our dogs apparently would rather be in the Nether. How silly.
We headed out into the Azeos Wilderness to grab up some more seeds. We only got three Puffungi seeds, but a good amount of Bloat Oat seeds. After making a new farming area to move the Grumpkins to, we headed out again. We hit up the desert to grab even more seeds. We're not there yet, but getting close.
We head back to the Nightengale's camp and get ourselves into another quest. After some shopping, we head to Mass Bay to help some sick Gunners and now we can build hospitals. We also did a little bit more at the HQ.
It was time to enter a new vault under a new version of Vault Hunters! While the loot wasn't great, it was our first actual vault completion! We also rescued our dogs from the Nether and poked around a bit. The Nether spawn is definitely not great.
We gather up all the stuff from the Core Keeper birthday event. Core Keeper is one year old and this series is very close behind! We make a music room, move the shrooms to a new room, and gather up some more slime idols. We took on Ivy six more times and on the final time she finally gave up the harness!
We head over to Diamond City and repair our armor. Then we wander into the Nightengale's "camp" and end up getting a quest to rescue someone. And it's not even Wolfenstein! Since they're in a ship way out in the water, we have to ditch the Power Amor for a little bit. It's...not the best time, but we got it done.
We were able to get into two vaults today. The first one continued the trend of dying. The second one was much better. We got a treasure room and even were able to survive the whole thing and make it back out! We even moved a bunch of stuff into the house.
We finish off Cultic by cleaning up the Excavation Site and going to the Ritual Chamber to smash the boss. Good times.
We make our way through two more levels and get set on fire multiple times. A great and terrible day.
Two more levels down, including taking down a tank. We're marching towards the end!
As we make our way through two more levels we end up getting exploded and taking a chainsaw to the face. We made it, though.
We do some more work on the base while we gather up a few more slime idols. Then we smash Ivy six more times, but she does not give up the goods today. The goods being the chest piece. We did finally get to make the Caveling Brute Plushie. It even makes noise!
Jumping into Cultic, we make our way through the first two levels without too many problems.
We set out for some questing while waiting for the HQ. We may have made Oberland Station a little angry. They should settle down in time. We ended up going back to the HQ before really getting anything done, but the HQ work continues!
We made ourselves a Nature's Compass to find some dripstone. It wasn't too far away. Once we got back, however, I remembered that we already had a dripstone farm. A tiny one, but still. The vault was a pretty good time, though we are in desperate need of actual vault gear.
We start off gathering up a present of 150 goodie bags to help us get grumpkin seeds. We managed to get 50, so that went well. We also got some Haunted Hive Mother idols, so we took her on twice. After that, we work on the modifications to the base.
We set out from Sanctuary to head back to the HQ and do some shopping along the way. It seems that we finally have the Power Distribution project started. Going out and questing while waiting for that to complete took us into Quincy to take on the Gunners.
We head off into a vault to gather up what we can. All I can say is that the vault runs in a very entertaining way. Now we need to track down some pointed dripstone for the next crystal.
We head off to farm up the outfit from Ivy. We take her on seven times, but we only get the pants. We will have to smash her more. After that was putting stuff away and theorycrafting the next version of the base.
We push our way through the next two levels. After a fair bit of struggle, we confront the final boss and take him down. Now we may rest in Heaven.
We finish off the Sacred Path and after we head back, the temple is a little wrecked and we are pulled into the final area where we head through the first level.
We jump in and tackle the first two levels of the Sacred Path. We will finish it off soon!
We spend some time setting up some fresh ore boulders for that tasty metal we crave. We also check out the new playable musical instruments. After that was a touch more base work.
We finish up the Solar Solstice by taking down the Solar Saint. Next up is the Sacred Path!
We head out from the HQ to clean up a couple quests. Somerville Place is happy and the Tesla Cannon was acquired. Now we have to get 200 concrete and 500 steel, among other things, to the HQ to continue building it up.
We head into the Solar Solstice to take on the first two levels. Some of the inhabitants were very rude to us. We made our displeasure with them quite clear.
We head out to gather up more love letters and work on our melee skill some. We end up cutting up so so many slimes. We also add onto the item room a little more and gather up the ore sitting around.
We finish off the Arcane Expanse with the last two levels. The boss fight at the end was a little troublesome, but we were able to finish them off. The Solar Solstice is next!
We go through the first two levels of the Arcane Expanse. It's not a terrible trip, but those little walkways always stress me out. We took a few shots to the face, but we're still rolling.
We killed a bunch of zombies to finally get the rotten flesh we needed. It was going very well until I opened my big mouth about all the creepers. We also cleared out a village, which we may have been to twice. We also acquired a vault forge, and we are ready to jump into another vault.
We head out to finish off The Forges. After a lot of platforming failure, we finally make it to the Forgemaster and take him out. The Arcane Expanse is next.
We head into The Forges and make our way through the first two levels. More to go.
A bit of farming, some rearranging, and an even bigger room. There's mannequins now! I think some adventures are due.
We head into the Domain of the Sentiels and power our way through to the end to take out the second boss. The Forges are up next!
The Valentine's event is underway and we're checking it out. Along with that are some pretty big visual changes and some other things added to the game. While we were interrupted, we'll be checking it out more very soon.
We're starting out in Amid Evil, so we head into the Astral Equinox. After getting rid of the boss, it's time for the Domain Of The Sentinels!
Into another vault to start off. The loot wasn't great, but it will still be useful. Getting back out alive is always a win. And for our next crystal...we need even more rotten flesh. I swear VH is trolling me.
It was off to continue activating the relay towers. We ended up losing both power armor legs, so we had to ditch some stuff twice. Hopefully, we will remember to pick it up again someday. After a trip to Sanctuary to fix the armor, we hit up the last two towers on the way back to HQ.
We head over to Jamaica Plain to take it over for Somerville Place. It took longer than I expected. Then some shopping with Cricket and we're on our way towards the next relay.
We had to get some arrows, so it was time to smash some gravel. Then a pretty nice run through a vault with a good bit of vault ores. We were even able to get our first knowledge point today. After some rotten flesh farming, we also made a crystal for next time.
