Welcome to the Illusion Asylum. Well, version two, I guess. Mostly just checking out Google Sites for now, and for YouTube stuff. Maybe more.
Welcome to the Illusion Asylum. Well, version two, I guess. Mostly just checking out Google Sites for now, and for YouTube stuff. Maybe more.
For the most part, there wasn't a whole lot around today, but what was around was quite useful. We have more lights now, and another correct pedal. We still need a bunch more, and we need to fix the car up. That will come.
While we still need a lot of parts, we were able to get the body of the car assembled. We need to fix it up, too, but that will come with time.
It's time to head out into the infinite! We found a new car to put together rather quickly, so we have a rusted not-Mustang. We'll get it fixed up soon enough.
We finally finished off the art installation today. We also got some of the eggs we need, though we need more, and we got new copper and iron boulders hooked up.
We headed out to finish more of our car, and to finish off the run. We took down the alien spaceship, and we are beautiful. If someone knows where the missing audio track is, that would be nice. Not muted, not set up wrong or anything, but my babbling is missing.
We've gone past 20KM and we were able to get a few more parts for our car. It's really coming together now.
Today the question of "Who are you?" is answered. Kinda. Maybe?
We stuck around the base today. We expanded the kitchen, and mostly finished off the art installation/lag machine. Our home is finally rounding into shape.
It's time to get to driving. We get our starter car together as much as we can, and then we switch cars just a few minutes later. Poor Dada. Maybe next time, buddy.
That would be me. We've started on a whole new home for our rather large crew. It's going to take a while, but it will be handy.
Today, we did some of that fun administrative stuff around the base. We even got a few more things for our item areas. Oh, and we took on the Atlantean Worm, too.
Â
Â
We head out to take on the final boss. It took a few tries, and we actually broke the fight at one point, but we were able to take him down and claim the axe as our own.
Â
They put quite the roadblock in front of us, be we ultimately prevailed. The final showdown awaits!
It begins. What is "it?" Hell if I know.
We mined our way through a lot more of the ring of Shimmering Frontier, and finally, finally, we found an arena. Humorously, trying to find it was way harder than completing the arena event was. We finally have our last vendor.
One more level down, quietly, it would turn out. We are close to the end now.
Â
Another level taken down. It was rugged, but we made it. We're almost in the home stretch.
We mostly hung around in the base to get some more stuff done. It's not super exciting, but it needed done.
We made our way through the next level of the Black Labyrinth. It was a bit rocky, but we made it. I also forgot to check if the mic was muted beforehand. Oops.
Â
We make our way through two more levels of the Black Labyrinth. It was a bit more rocky today, but we made it through. We even had to take down a dragon!
Today was finally the day. We spent a bit of time preparing and headed out. It took a couple of tries, but we took Igneous down. Overall, we had way less attempts needed this season.
We're throwing it back a ways and digging up Amid Evil to play through the DLC, The Black Labyrinth. We made our way through the first couple levels without too many problems.
We head out looking for an arena again. And we still didn't find one. We did get a ton of crystal stuff, though.
Â
After a bit of time away, it seemed like a good idea to take stock of what we have, and get ready for whatever is next. Turns out, whatever is next is a lava bath only a few minutes after making shiny diamond armor.
After a patch yesterday, we shift gears to go find the crossover stuff from Abiotic Factor. Luckily for us, we did find the area without too much problem. It was a nice change.
While we're still on hunt for our arena, we are at least getting all sorts of useful stuff along the way.
We're still looking for that arena. Still haven't found it. We did get most of the farms done, however. And we got some other resources we will need.
Â
Today, we mostly went out looking for the arena we need for the last vendor. We didn't find it, but we did end up with a lot of resources.
Â
After a bit of base stuff, we headed out to the desert to find a few things. We haven't found the arena yet, but we did find one of the new Oasis areas. We even have two of the new farm animal.
Today we went out and grabbed a goat. And an aunt, I suppose.
After playing around for a few minutes, we went off to see Igneous. And we lost. Several times. Saw that coming, really. We did get the old wood spikes upgraded finally.
Â
We may have gotten distracted today by getting the last merchant. And we haven't found the right spot yet. And we still need to go back to the desert.
Â
We did a few things in the base, but we also headed out into the desert a couple of times. We were able to get an entire set of armor and a bunch of other stuff.
We mostly kept near the base today. We were able to harvest enough wood, finally, to finish off the item storage. Well, for now, at least. We're probably going to have to extend it at some point, like all the rest.
We headed out to finish off the last two and a half levels and bring this to a close. It was not too bumpy.
Â
We get through of a fair bit more of Cryptic Passage. It was a bit of a bumpy ride today.
Â
We dive into the final set of maps, Cryptic Passage. We made our way through the first three levels, even if I didn't notice a switch for a while.
We finish off Post Mortem by making our way through the last two levels. We're not too far away from being finished with Blood.
While I was quiet, we did get a few things done. We have more tin hooked up, we have all the pedestals in, and we tried to go take on Igneous, but we didn't get that far.
Sorry, I didn't realize how bad my voice is right now. But we did make it through a few levels.
The 1.1 update is here! Now it's time to dive into it a bit. We got our pouches ready, got a bunch more wood, and I believe we are ready.
We dive into one of the expansion episodes, Post Mortem! We made our way through the first few levels, and actually got stomped once. We prevailed in the end, though.
Today was another day for working on the base. We even planted a bit more wood, so we can maybe finish the item room someday.
We head through the last few levels, quietly, as it turns out. We hit the end and take down the final boss. (Someone forgot to check the mute setting.) We still have the expansion stuff to complete.
We finish off the third episode by taking down Cerberus and made our way through the first few levels of the fourth episode.
We started out in the sea today, and we were able to finally locate a vending machine. We upgraded our armor today, too.
A few more levels. Some of it feels very arbitrary, but we're making our way through.
We slug our way through some more levels and we've headed into the third episode.
We make our way through four more levels, which include multiple hedge mazes. Oh, and bottomless pits.
Despite a bit of an interruption, we were able to get more work done with item storage, and we even got the crystal mob farm all done.
I flailed around for a while trying to get through the next few levels. We did get the first episode done, and the first few levels of the second. We also learned that the game is smarter than I am.
Since we need a ton of wood for our item storage, we headed out to track some down. While we did a really good job at that, we still need a whole lot more.
Today was all about mining. We ended up finding another trial chamber and a few diamonds, though we will need a bunch more.
It's time for a playthrough of Blood. It's a very good game that I am very bad at, though we haven't died yet. We're making our way through the first episode currently.
It's the Valentine's holiday and there's flower petals and love notes all over the ground. We've gotten a good amount of stuff from it so far. And we've done more work on the new storage area. That's going to take a while.
This episode is cursed. It took four tries to record correctly, and then a trip into the Nether was rather tragic.
We went and wandered around The Passage more today, so that we could get the Obliteration Ray upgraded to the Stormbringer. It is quite nice. It was also time to finally get a better storage solution going, so we have started a new room.
We headed out again to wander through some crystal and get the Obliteration Ray. We did have one setback, but the RNG was nice to us, and we have our new Ray. Until we trade it for a better one, at least.
It's the final level, and it's time to take on the boss at the end. It was a little rocky in a couple places, but we were victorious.
We start out getting the last five fish we needed. We also head out and get a bunch of loot, though we haven't found what we really want yet.
Time for a trip through the trees! We get through without too many problems.
It may be the final biome, but that doesn't mean that we're not going to The Passage and grabbing up some resources. We got a decent amount of Pandorium ore and some other good loot beyond that. We also got smashed once, but we know what we're up against now.
We make our way through the third level, Laboratory. It went quite well, and we even found a secret.
We headed out to collect more people for our family. They are surely keeping us busy.
We make our way through the second level, Storage Facility. It went quite well, and we have some more weapons now.
We started off with finishing the painting of our current items. Then we headed out to the desert to track down some magma slime. We were successful.
We jump into the Chex Quest HD reimagining. It's not very long, but it is fun. We made our way through the first level without much difficulty.
We started out getting the rest of the Lunar New Year items that we needed. And after a fair bit of work on the art installation, we headed out to take on Ra-Akar. It was a little dicey in parts, but we took him down on the first try.
It's time to get some progress done. And we did, kinda. We were able to get the diamonds we needed for a new diamond pickaxe, though we lost our shield and got blown up at the end. Same as ever.
It's time for the Lunar New Year, and it's time to collect more stuff. We've gotten most of the paintable things we need, but we were just a little short on coins.
Today, we finished getting all the fish that aren't from the last area. Beyond that was some farming, and some oddness.
Today, we mostly spent time getting some more beach blocks and getting a lot of the remaining fish from the list.
While it could use some decoration still, we have finished off the house. Not sure what's next.
We plopped a few more things down in the art installation. After that, it was finally time to go take on Omoroth, and we were able to take care of him the first time. Next up are Igneous, who kicked our face in repeatedly last season, and Ra-Akar, who should be simple enough. After that, it was time to play with foods. We harvested and replanted, and even got some work done with the kitchen.
We managed to hit level 30 and took on the third stronghold. We were able to retake the Capitol and retrieved the President's briefcase. After our victory, the Black Tusk moved in to the city. That will not be our problem, though.
We're off to do more side quests and such. We didn't quite hit level 30, but we are close.
Today we finished expanding the item display rooms, found a wayward cow, and even got ourselves some new armor.
Today was not great. This could have been a video of us taking on the second stronghold. It turned out, however, that the video of that...had no video. Not ideal. And before the final stronghold, we need to level some, so it's side quest time!
We got some good work in today. Finished setting up the fish room, expanded the tools and such room, and even got nine of the remaining fishies.
We headed out and took on the first of the three strongholds. We have two more to go, though they will be harder.
Today, we decided that the white floor is not the way forward. We also grabbed a few more fish, and harvested all the crops. Not exciting, but necessary.
It's time for a daring rescue, which will give us the equipment needed to get the SHD network up for the whole country. Stronghold time looms large.
It took a fair bit of time, but we finally have the Solarite hooked up and heading home. After finishing that up, we did a bit more work on the art installation. It's getting there.
We headed out to find someone to bring back to life. As it turns out, it seems there's plenty of people we still have to rescue. I think we're going to need more room.
Not physically, not by any means, but we are well on our way to getting a Solarite boulder hooked up. That wasn't even what we went out to find, but that's what we got. Still worthwhile.
Back out into the streets of D.C. We did have some pretty bad lag problems, so the second half was the next day. We've gotten some progress in, though.
We headed out to find a Galaxite ore boulder and eventually found two. Now we need a Solarite boulder. We also finally went and took on Morpha, and took her down on the first try. I wasn't expecting that.
Today we opened all our locked chests and got...nothing, really. We also worked on the art installation more, which included going out to get a bunch more beach blocks. We'll probably need even more.
We continued the expansion of the art installation a bit. Now there's a small decision to make. And to aid these endeavors, it was finally time to set up an area for our cattle. That should take care of our wool shortage.
Managed to fail the mute check again. Oops. Beyond that, we got some gold set up and made the solarite workbench and anvil. We needed a new pickaxe, and besides that, it's more work on the base.
We go out to try and get some more diamonds. It does not go well.
We headed out to work on finishing up our critter collection. We got a couple more done, but we still have two to get. We also found some graphical bugs with the terrariums. Bugs all around!
We head back out to the Wilderness and the Desert to get even more stuff that we need for the base. There's still a ton to get, but we're making progress.
Today we headed out and got some of the fish and bugs we need for our display rooms. We still have more to get, but we've made good progress.
We spent today at home. We put more light tiles in the art installation, though we have a really long way to go with that. We also made rooms for terrariums and aquariums.
We spent today working on the house some more. It's not quite done yet. We need to go gather some spruce wood.
We started getting ready for the fight with Morpha. We are probably about as ready as we can be. On top of that, we gathered up a bunch of crystal and beach blocks. We need more seeds, but the farm plots are finally complete.
It was off to get another mission done. We ended up doing more than that. The Theater is mostly finished now.
Today, we added the Scarlet Ore boulder that I forgot about to the network of conveyor belts. We also added some more light to the art installation. We also had to head back out and get more beach blocks to continue that later.
Today it was finally time to head to the Hollow Halls. We made our way through and rescued the next NPC for our little group. No worthwhile gear, but that's not a problem.
We finished off the tunnel for the Octarine. We also grabbed the necklace from the Giant Conch. We even did some random stuff back at home. Lots more stuff on my list to do, though.
We continued on with the new room, though the outside light washes out the items too much with the white floor. So, we headed off to the Sunken Sea to find an octarine boulder. We found three, actually, and got them all hooked up. Back to base building.
While I managed to screw up the microphone for a bit, we got both copper and iron ore boulders hooked up. We also went looking for a galaxite boulder, but that didn't happen. We did do a maze and find Ra-Akar's arena. We also started the next room in the base.
We started out still in the Trial Chamber, so we went exploring a bit more. We found a decent room, and I even decided to use an Ominous Bottle and we got the achievement for opening an Ominous Vault, though the loot was...not great.
In this NEWvember episode, we take a look at the demo for Greedland. It's a good game, though I am a sucker for Vampire Survivors-likes and twin stick shooters.
While there were some small difficulties, we headed off to liberate the Lincoln Memorial. Objective completed.
This time, we check out Megapolis. It's an older game, but it's a good little chill city builder.
Floating fun!
We headed out to the Azeos Wilderness to get ourselves some Scarlet Ore. We got a whole bunch, plus a lot of other stuff, though not some things that I'm still looking for. We even got a few things from the Shimmering Frontier.
Today, we headed out to see if we could find another spot to get on the Sea. We did find somewhere, and we found a bunch of other stuff besides. Then it was a bit of planning out what comes next in the base, and started working on getting more boulders set up. We need more Scarlet Ore, though.
In this episode of NEWvember, we take a look at Project Warlock II. It's an FPS with a touch of magic and RPG-like elements. It's definitely a good time.
We head out to get some stuff done and get a new safehouse. We even got some new gear out of it. And we're one step closer to the end.
In this NEWvember episode, we take a look at Dustland Delivery. It's a freight hauling game that also has combat and such. It's fun, but a lot of thinking.
We headed back out to the Sunken Sea today. We got a lot of stuff, though still not what we were looking for. Heading back home, we made the newest mob farm and connected the two tin boulders to the base. We even found some stuff in the glass workbench that I didn't know was there before.
In this NEWvember episode, we take a look at the demo for Trash Goblin. It's a neat little game.
Today, instead of mining, we're actually building a home. It's not done yet, and we had to go to the Nether twice, but it's coming along.
In this video, we take a look at Battle Axe. It's an arcade top-down hack and slash. It's very fun. I like it.
Oops, my microphone was muted the whole time. But we went back out on the sea to get some more goodies. We didn't get a ton and still looking for a few things. And we have one more room of items now.
In this NEWvember video, we check out Dead Cells! I knew it was a good game already, but I had never played it before. I do like it quite a bit.
Today, we headed out to both the Sunken Sea and the Desert Of Beginnings to gather up some goodies. We didn't get everything I was looking for, but we can try again next time.
Today we check out Karate Survivor, a survivor-like roguelite game. It's quite enjoyable.
A big update came out. We're just getting things up to speed right now, making sure that everyone has a bed. That's a thing now, yes. Next time, we will probably go do some of these new quests.
For our first NEWvember episode, we check out Little Kitty, Big City. It's a pretty good chill game.
We headed to the desert to grab some moss to get the next mob farm room done. We foraged up a few other things, as well. While we didn't do anything else with our storage today, we don't need to rush it.
We did some more work in the base today. Two more rooms added today for us to fill up.
We headed out to the beach first. We gathered up the slime we needed for the next mob farm. Then we 'borrowed' some Grumpkin seeds from season one. We got some more building done, as well.
We headed out to the Wilderness again, this time to take down Ivy. It took two tries, but we did it. We even defeated the King Slime today, as well. Then we did some kitchen renovations.
Why?: It's an experiment, just go with it.
We spend a fair bit of time gathering up some food and arrow parts. We even got a new friend. Then it was off to the Trial Chamber again. We didn't die, which is nice. The Trial Chamber is a very odd generation.
Why?: It's an experiment, just go with it.
Our first task today was to finish up the poison slime collecting. Then we got the scanner for Ivy and realized that we already knew where she was. Oops. On the bright side, we got all three pieces needed for Rune Song, so we have our old friend again. Then it was to the beach for some gathering. And planting some new crops.
We headed back down to the mine to try and grab some more diamonds. While down there, we did some cave exploring, which actually gave us some diamonds. We also found a skeleton dungeon nearby. After heading back home, we finished up by getting the enchanting setup finished.
Today we took down the Hive Mother. It wasn't too bad of a fight. Much better than the first time we tried two years ago. We did a bit more with the base, and then we headed out to get some more poison slime.
We have to make our way into an occupied lab and take care of everything there. With fire. And bullets, though most of those missed the mark. It got done, though.
We stuck around the base today. We got a few new rooms going for our stuff and a new bedroom for a vendor. We even cleaned up the storage.
We headed back out into the Springlands to get some fossily goodness. We did find four fossils, but only two of them were ones we didn't have. Still need one more from around there. We'll find it sooner or later.
We head down into the lab to find some very dead bodies. We also found a very large, not dead body. We were able to take him down, but it took some chems to do it. Of course, now we have some more stuff to do.
We started out with getting our mob farms sorted out and doing some cooking. Then, even though we didn't quite have everything I wanted, we went to try out Azeos. Overall, it went well, and the first Titan is down.
We started gathering wood while we made more charcoal. Once we got our back of torches ready, it was back to our good old cave. This time with no sadness, since we have armor. We got a good bit of iron and other stuff, and some stuff from the lush cave, but we did not find what I was looking for. We did find a trial chamber, though.
We headed out east to the Sunken Sea today. We went to get some Octarine, in the hopes of being able to remove the accidental mold placement. It took that and a couple other items, but we were able to get that taken care of. We also finished off a mob farm, and got enough tin for one more.
We headed back out to the Wilderness to spend some time in a mold dungeon. We gathered up all the mold we need, and got a few upgrades while we were there, as well.
It's back! Unfortunately, the break did not entice the world to give us a bunch of diamonds. We did go mining and brought some back, but not enough.
We went out to do a little bit of gathering before spending time working on the base. One more mob farm, two more crops, and even a whole new room were added today.
We went poking around the world a little bit. We found the desert and even grabbed some Galaxite. We also opened one of the music doors and got some decent stuff. And there was the ever present base work.
We headed out to get some questing done. We found one fossil, but really didn't get much else done.
We start by heading back out to the Wilderness to poke around a bit. We found where a couple scarlet ore boulders are and hooked one up with some drills and such. Beyond that was some more base work, including punching up!
We started out making a better path out to the Wilderness. Then we got one of the tin boulders all set up. Most of our time was spent working on the base a bit. It's still got a ways to go, but we'll get there.
We headed out to find a good cave to start mining up. After one terrible cave, we found a nice, juicy cave just waiting for us. Unfortunately for us, the skeleton contingent was doing its best work. We ran back to that cave too many times. We were able to scrape up just enough iron to get a full set of armor, so that should help.
We spend most of our time heading back home. We did find a buried treasure while we wandered back.
We head out to Azeos' Wilderness to grab ourselves some scarlet ore and whatever else we can find. While wandering around, we even found Azeos' arena, which is nice.
We're sent off to reclaim something that was taken from Air Force One and put in a vault. Turns out, it was the President. We were able to rescue him and get him to safety. Now we need to go find his briefcase.
We headed out to take on Malugaz. It went better than I expected. After a trip back home to talk with the core, we headed out and dispelled the wall. Now we are back on that Azeos' Wilderness grind.
We get a bit more established today. Mostly, we were failing to find much iron, but we did get a few things done. Perhaps we hit the caves next time.
We headed back out, to both the Forgotten Ruins and the Clay Caves, to grab up the resources we need. We were even able to get the tunic, so we are wearing the full Chieftain set. I think we are ready to try Malugaz.
A new world. A new perspective. Time to get established. The first night did not go well. The second night was better.
We did head out again to get some more resources. We didn't find too much. We did, however, spend a bunch of time setting up the new mob farm area.
We headed back out for more resources. We got a lot of iron and some new gear, though it's not super useful for us. Due to not really paying enough attention, we almost stumbled into Malugaz before we were ready. We ended off with some preliminary base work.
We started off trying to do some questing, but I kinda lost interest in that for a bit. We headed home and did some farming and crafting. And we were able to put together the next glider. We haven't used it yet, but soon.
First off, we headed out to get some more resources. We got that and a bit more. We even found the Wall. After that was a bit of working on the base. It's starting to shape up.
We headed out to gather up whatever we could. We also started drilling one of the iron ore boulders. The rest of our time was spent working on the base. We're finally getting some things nailed down.
We head out to the space administration's building to get ourselves a transmitter connected to some satellites. It took a while, but we got it done, and even got some new gear.
It was off to the Forgotten Ruins again to get ourselves some more iron. We got that and a whole bunch more. Once we got back, we got all the new workstations built and even did a bit of base construction.
We start out heading down to take on Ghorm. It went well, and we got rid of the big worm. After a little bit of base work, we head back out for some wonderful resources. We've started collecting iron from the Forgotten Ruins. We also collected pain.
We head out to find the lab. First we have to cross the river again or take a long hike along the riverfront. Turns out that the crossing was not too bad. We did a bit of poking around and almost instantly regretted it. We are ready to head into the lab, though.
It was time to head out and gather up some resources we need to take on Ghorm. Number one was a bunch of tin. Number two was apparently taking a spear to the face. Three is potions. I think we're just about ready.
We start off heading out to get some tin. We also got pain, but we did get the tin. We'll need more, of course, and more copper, but that will come. We also got a lot of other resources and even ended up with a copper sledgehammer. Back home, we're clearing some area to expand into.
Off to do some more questing. We got close to disaster, but we were able to persevere. Back home, we expanded our storage a bit, and unlocked a couple more recipes. And made the other two instruments.
First up, we wandered around for a while collecting resources and such. Then we made up some food and health potions, and we ended up going to see how painful the fight would be, but then we took Glurch down on the first try. After that, we made a nice room for our new vendor.
We head out onto the water to see what we can find. Besides a few bad rivers, we found a huge ocean. And we even made a friend while out there.
We headed out to gather up some resources. I am amazed how much new stuff we keep finding. It's quite lovely. We even got our first little mob farms running.
We head off to get rid of all the Mittenlurk nests. While we almost died, we avoided that fate. Once we were let into the crashed plane...there's a Mittenlurk nest right there in the cockpit. Why? And why did I need to get rid of some, but not that one? Or why did I do it at all? So confusing.
It's here! It's time to start out all fresh and new. We've gotten a rudimentary base going, with some crops and wood growing. It's also time for some mining. We already found the giant mushroom and our good friend Glurch. We should probably power up a bit before taking him on.
We head out to do some missions and both of the places we end up are contaminated. We made it through them, though. And even got a few useful pieces of loot.
We headed out to do the Queen's Tomb quest. It took way longer than necessary, but we were able to finish it off in the end.
It's back down into the world to get back to the mining. We found a lot of lava, lots of redstone and coal, and we did even find some diamonds. We don't have enough yet, but we're getting there.
Time for a one-off. Today it's a neat pinball game, Demon's Tilt. We had a couple okay games and a couple not so good ones. It was a good time, though.
